Each cultivar was matched to the optimum vineyard site possible. The range consists of 18 different varietals and provides a unique and direct comparison between the famous French wines of Bordeaux and the Rhone, Tuscany and Piedmont, but expressed in the Cape terroir.

Heritage Bianco

Pale, straw-yellow in colour with a delicate floral nose. Elegant flavours of pear, green melon, and pineapple combine with fresh, crisp acidity and a well structured mid-palate to make this an exceptional example of Pinot Grigio. A perfect wine for aperitivo and seafood.

Heritage Rosso

A lively red wine with aromatic notes of raspberries, sweet cherries and Prosciutto. Delicate oaking in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels contribute to both fruity and savoury notes on the palate. A fantastic drinking wine with good acidity and a smooth, elegant finish typical of Italian varietal wines and perfect for Italian dishes.

An aromatic, barrel matured Viognier with typical straw colour. Initial top notes of vanilla develop into a complex mélange of ripe melon, dried apricots and chunky nougat on the nose. This medium bodied wine has a smooth, rounded mid palate followed by a lingering sensation of orange blossoms and spices. Serve chilled and enjoy the evolution of flavours in the glass.

A complex, medium to full bodied example of barrel fermented Semillon. A delicate citrus perfume with whiffs of lemon meringue, yellow plum and white pepper. A voluptuous mid-palate with notes of kumquat, grapefruit and vanilla custard reveal Semillon’s structured character and good length. A wine that will benefit from cellaring and a definite food companion.
