An unusual and intriguing example of skin contact, barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc, matured in barrique for a further five years before bottling. The name reflects the deliberate use of extended skin contact, which imparts a fuller body, golden hue, and savoury complexity beyond the typical Sauvignon Blanc profile.
A delicately concentrated wine with soft acidity and enticing cordial-like aromas of yellow stone fruit, passion fruit and butterscotch. Hints of dried herbs, earthy spice and granite soils add to a wine that is remarkable for its texture and mouthfeel.

| Vinification Details | The grapes were picked in early morning and transported to the cold container for overnight storage. The next day the grapes were first bunch sorted before being destemmed and then berry sorted. The berries went straight into the press, and the juice thereafter was settled for 2 days before being racked and inoculated for fermentation. The wine was fully barrel fermented and aged a further 8 months, before being lightly filtered and bottled. |
